RSS is not only for Blogs
Odds are popular opinion, RSS is not only good for delivering content from your blog, although blogs are what made RSS so popular.RSS can actually be used to deliver a wide range of content and content needs types. If you can divide your content in to individual stories or individual pieces, you can deliver it via RSS. If you simply want to give you an idea of the power of RSS, here are some examples of content you can publish with it--> MarketingVOX is using RSS to deliver internet marketing news to their readers, as it becomes available. Instead of having to wait to receive all the news in a single e-mail newsletter, get RSS users them as soon as they are ready.--> Amazon.com uses RSS to announce their Bestsellers and help their users keep track of releases they are most interested in.--> some managers already communicate with their affiliates using RSS affiliate. You can of course use it to communicate with all other segment and, as your employees or team members, and even your company owners. --> FindSavings.com uses RSS to deliver savings coupons and related information.--> Lockergnome uses RSS to provide visitors with the latest week and the appropriate software. Again using other companies RSS to deliver product updates and patches directly to their customers, just as they become available. --> A few hundred content publishers are using RSS to deliver audio content, such as .MP3 interviews and even radio shows. --> Textamerica.com allows people to post pictures, videos and text from their mobile phones and then make this content available via RSS feed.--> other companies are using RSS to deliver white papers and other educational content.--> one company uses RSS as a consulting billing awareness tool. The consultants create activity reports and RSS feeds from the activity channels carry the billable information to the accounting staff for invoice preparation. --> Many internet publishers are using RSS to deliver their newsletters, as a complement to their email delivery. Since many people no longer want to give their e-mail address away to publishers, this is a great way to keep your e-zine readership growing. --> Publish living digital catalogues of your products and provide your customers with your latest product releases, broken down by the categories they are interested in, and make it easy for them to order.--> give your affiliates and marketing partners with RSS feeds they can encourage their visitors to better promote your products and still make a Commission. Amazon.com makes already it. When you start?--> create RSS autoresponders with scheduled messages, to keep in constant marketing contact with your prospects and slowly bring them to the point of purchase. --> Deliver limited access content to your customers, employees, team members and even investors without fearing other unwanted eyes. Use RSS for internal communications, teamworking and other needs. --> Give your customers easy access to software updates, delivered to them exactly as they become available, without the fuss of having to visit your site or deal with huge e-mail attachments, which would get blocked by spam filters anyway. --> Newsreporters are constantly bombarded with e-mail, so why not instead deliver your press releases via RSS? Or even better yet, why not provide some of your releases as video comments, interviews or statements from your business managers or owners?--> help your visitors keep with what s going on in your Web Forum, by publishing your latest forum posts or whole threads via RSS. And yet these are still only a few examples of what you can do with RSS today when something new comes up almost every day. Are you and already among these benefit from marketing and publishing power of RSS? About the author:

The 7 steps to promoting your RSS Feeds on your site
Copyright 2005 Rok HrastnikRSS gets 100% of your content delivered, but it's not good if no one subscribes to your feeds. So your first order of business after planning and setting up your feeds have to promote them to your visitors. The only problem is that most internet users still don t know RSS is, so you have your work cut out for. But user outlined below you shouldn t-system has problems. In fact, after the implementation of this system, you should achieve better results than most publishers out there. 1. How RSS FEEDS are generally PROMOTED RSS feeds generally are promoted by using the orange XML or RSS buttons and often also with buttons that enable visitors to draw directly on the feed with your RSS reader. Normally, if you click the RSS button, visitors can see only a mass of confusing XML code. They must actually copy and paste link into your RSS reader. But since most still don t know RSS is, by using this procedure only waste potential subscribers. If you want to achieve success, you ll another approach. A] create a RSS presentation page where you explain:
-What RSS is-how visitors will benefit from using RSS-where they can get a free RSS aggregator (recommend one myself!)-how they can install it (gives step-by-step instructions)-how they can subscribe to your RSS feeds-why you should subscribe to your own RSS feeds then, on this same page, including links to all of your RSS feeds. In addition to the standard orange RSS button, also include direct links to subscriptions through MyYahoo! (get it here http://my.yahoo.com/s/button.html) and other relevant services, such as Blog lines (http://www.bloglines.com). There are about 5 RSS readers you should cover these buttons. (B)] are now promoting this RSS presentation page, as you can by using all of your available channels. 2. location and content It s all about location, just as with the box subscription to your e-zine. If they don t see it, they won t Subscribe. And if you don t motivating them enough to check box-it out, they'll just ignore it. (A)] promote your RSS feeds directly in your e-zine subscription box, and always above fold. Promote your RSS presentation page (tells your visitors that s where they can subscribe to your feeds) on the most prominent placements of your site. (B)] If you re publishing more than one RSS feed, but rather a few focused topic feeds, promote each of them according to their topics. For example, if you re publishes an RSS feed on e-mail marketing, promote RSS feed at the top of the home page for the topic, and in each E-mail marketing article you publish. These links should actually direct subscriptions links to feeds. Use this service to cover all important readers by using only one simple button: http://www.methodize.org/quicksub/(C)] Promote your RSS feeds in all your e-mail messages and e-zine issues. (D)] as for contents, don t say just Subscribe and receive news from my site, but rather prepare compelling copy to specifically Show your visitors why they need to subscribe to your content in the first place and why they should subscribe specifically your RSS feeds. 3. Enable AUTO-DISCOVERY
Some internet browsers such as Firefox, making it easy for users to subscribe to RSS feeds. The browser actually asks the user if he wants to subscribe to feeds, see the browser of the user is currently on the site.
Yes, it is even more powerful than the form e-mail subscription, because the browser in a way pushes the user with your RSS feed subscription. But for the browser to do this, you need to help it to find your RSS feed. Simply include the following piece of HTML code in thepoint in your webpages and you ll be all set: there are many more techniques and opportunities available to you from direct subscribe links to actual user opt-in forms, but these 7 steps should get you started as soon as possible, and help you achieve a better visitor-to-RSS-subscriber conversion rate than the vast majority of sites are achieving today.About the author:

Unusual RSS tools
BySharon Housley masses have adopted RSS as a more mainstream communication medium, Web 2.0 companies and publishers have adopted unique and unusual tools to manipulate RSS content. Here are just some of the various RSS tools that is available at the moment ... RSS to PDF Feedbooks, a free RSS aggregator, takes in RSS feeds and converts them into compiled PDFs. PDF-files yet include a table of contents. Feedbooks is free to use, and registration will provide access to more options. What are sound effects?
What is a sound effect?
A sound effect is a ready-made sound for podcasters or producers. Podcasters will typically only incorporate the sound of their production to instant success. This can be done with various editors running on a very short time. Sound effects make the creation of a podcast easier and professional. Sound effects are usually easy to edit and customize using any sound editor, occasionally more sophisticated sound require precise audio control.
Examples of sound effects can be found on digital audio effects-http://www.digital-sound-effects.comWhat costs the sound effects?
It depends on many variables. Sound effects can vary from $ 99 for a single effect to hundreds of dollars for a custom created sound. The price varies depending on the complexity and length of the sound. Licenses can also affect the pricing structure. Most of the sound effects are available for non-exclusive use, and exclusive effects tend to be much more expensive.
In most cases, a sound effect can be edited with another audio editor, but it is best to read the license agreement from the company you purchased sound power from. This will give you a clearer understanding of how the file can be exploited and manipulated.
An audio editor is a piece of software or equipment that makes it possible to change or improve a recording.
Proper use of sound effects, while sometimes complex, be done by amateur podcasters and presenters in order to improve their podcasts and presentations. Sound effects make the resulting Display or presentation much more professional and credible.
There is no maximum capacity or minimums when it comes to sound effects. Of course, the larger files can make your file size grow and intimidate listeners with a slow connection. The balance between file size and quality of the effect to determine what will best meet your needs.
ID3 tags consist of metadata that describes the contents of the file audio (typically ID3 tags relating to MP3 files). ID3 tags contains general information related to the audio file, including things like the title of the audio file, artist, album, or any other relevant information. Speculation in future podcasting search engines and directories using the information in the ID3 tags to categorize, search, and the Group podcasts. What file formats are acceptable for the sound effects? It depends on your needs, and many sound libraries now offer effects in a wide variety of formats.

How can you get a free enhanced listing in Yahoo with your RSS Feed
How can you get a free enhanced listing in Yahoo with your RSS Feed
Copyright 2004 Tinu AbayomiPaul
Last week, I cheated on my long love Google, with my old girlfriend Yahoo. And ever since the day I have been considering becoming a bigamist. (To fully understand what this crazy nonsense around was read my last specified article on how to get your RSS feed in Yahoo within hours-in 5 simple steps here: http://www.freetrafficdirectory.com/rssyahoo.)
Today I decided to go ahead and break the law-Yahoo is my new other party.
What I am talking about, and what does it mean for your site?
Once I discovered that you could get into Yahoo's RSS Feed directory so quickly, I started to do a lot of observations about their site. The first thing I noticed is that they made some subtle changes to their search page. The same day, I noticed that some sites have more information in their listings than others.
Try this search on Yahoo for example, "get your RSS Feed listed within hours", quotes and all.
Scroll through the results. Notice for search results number 7 and number 8-www.marketingproductreview.com www.searchenginejournal.com-link for a searcher to add your feed from the search results is right on the page.
If you use a RSS, get you power on this already.
In the event that you do not, bonnets, formulate it to ya .... Thanks to Yahoo's people will not even go to the site to add you to their Yahoo page, if you have the correct meta tag in your site's header.
And if they don t use since My Yahoo to trace their feeds? They ve been so kind enough to include a link to your XML link, as well as.
How can this work know?
Do another search for need free traffic-without quotes this time. Scroll down to Search result number four-see with the feed links? That s my site. Not only did this work, it apparently takes only a few days from submitting your feed. I have added this simple code to my site header on the 6th of July. I have noticed another traffic increase to my site on the 8th, and couldn't t figure what has led me to check the listings in Yahoo, who had sent me traffic.
How did this? I've added a simple meta tag called RSS Auto Discovery to my site. IT s very easy to use. Here s it looks like this:
< !--="" rss="" autodiscovery="" --="">
{link rel = "alternate" type = "application/rss + xml" Title = "rss" href = "http://www.freetrafficdirectory.com/members/backend.php"/}
Just replace my RSS feed link with your own, and add code to the header of your site.

Everything RSS
RSS Feeds
RSS-also known as rich site summary or real simply syndication, arrived on the scene of a number of years ago, but was only recently embraced by webmasters as a means to effectively syndicate content. RSS Feeds provide webmasters and content providers an avenue to provide concise Summaries to prospective readers. Thousands of commercial Web sites and blogs now publish content Summaries in an RSS feed. Each item in the feed typically contains a heading; Article summary and link back to the online article.Benefit to the webmaster
As the Internet has become more crowded webmasters have strives to deliver fresh and updated content for their website visitors. Many webmasters have discovered they can easily utilize the information in RSS feeds to provide fresh Web content. RSS feeds are composed in XML, which is a very simple markup language. Similar to HTML, XML uses tags to identify fields. Webmasters can easily parse the RSS feed and dynamically create Web pages that contain headlines and summaries. Feeds are updated continuously, providing a steady stream of automatically generated fresh content. RSS allows webmasters to:

What is Creative Commons?
Creators login to the Creative Commons system and select what restrictions, attributes, or changes they wish to assign to their creative works. The Web site for Creative Commons will then prepare a Creative Commons license to the creative works expressed in three ways. Will provide Creative Commons: the commons deed clearly stating the licensing rights in plain English, legal code for the license and a digital license code. Digital code can be embedded in websites and search engines. Yahoo has a new Creative Commons Search which identifies works and recognizes any licensing conditions. Searches can be conducted for different types of licenses. Creative Commons Web site also contains a home page icon that clearly marks the creative work which some rights reserved or no rights reserved. There are a number of licensing options for the copyright holder. Assign a Creative Commons license does not mean that the copyright holder give up rights to a piece of art, it simply means some conditions could be placed on the use of creative works.Examples of creative common license options
A Creative Commons license enables copyright holders to grant some of their rights to the public while retaining other rights. NonCommercial -a non-commercial license lets others copy, distribute, perform creative works and derivative works, but only for Noncommercial purposes (anyone using the creative works do not profit from it).ShareAlike -A ShareAlike license allows others to distribute derivative works under a license that is identical to that held by the original copyright holder. noderivative Works -A NoDerivative Works clause allows others to copy, distribute, display and perform the exact copywritten works and no derivative works can be created. Attribution -an Attribution license means creative works can be copied, distributed, displayed or performed and derivative works can be created, provided that appropriate credit to the original copyright holder has been given.Many artists feel that a Creative Commons license increases their exposure but still allow them to retain their rights to the creative works, a balance between ownership, credit and use. In the end, a Creative Commons license enables copyright holders to grant some of their rights to the public while retaining others; with Creative Commons copyright holder retains the flexibility to control all rights to their creative works. RSS vs Email
Copyright 2005 Rok HrastnikAlthough RSS and blogs are slowly reaching mainstream, they are still missuderstood by most marketers in relation to gamers and in relation to their relatives, e-zines and e-mail. How these four really relate and what this means for your internet marketing strategy?The most common missconception is comparing blogs and email, with many bloggers actually argue blogs as a replacement for email. The truth is that there's no comparison at all, like comparing apples and oranges. The second missconception is believing that RSS and blogs are somehow strongly connected, or even that RSS is good only to provide blog content. The result of this, on the one hand, marketers who don't see RSS as a full-powered channel, communicational and bloggers on the other side as refusal to see email as a viable content delivery vehicle. Easy s set the record straight RSS and e-mail content delivery channels; the tools that makes it possible for us to deliver our content to end users, and in the case of RSS, to other sites. Blogs and e-zines are two different internet content media formats, differences in how/what the content is delivered and presented through them explained in even simper conditions: Blogs and e-zines or newsletters is "what"---what you publish online ... the content page. RSS and email is "how"---how to get to the content or information to the reader ... the output page. RSS/email and blogs/e-zines can not be compared directly. Blog content and e-zine content can both be delivered via RSS and email, and there is no direct business/logical relationship between, for example, blogs and RSS. To say that "blogs have some attributes and features, e-mail is missing" actually compare the two entirely different things (an internet media content format, with a content delivery channel) which are not directly related. What makes sense, for example, compare e-zines and blogs ... Blogs are "personal" conversations, opinions and news, delivered in a linear structure, usually written in a more personal style, and is restricted to a limited number of content types. E-zines, on the other hand, are more like magazines or newspapers, transporting content presented in a complex non-linear structure, content, and have the ability to make many different content types that do not mix well together if delivered through a linear content structure. A typical e-zine may include:--> an editorial;
--> Article a leader who represents the predominant topic of a specific e-zine issues;
--> support articles, clearly structured to show they are secondary to the main article;
--> links to "best of" blog posts in the specified time frame;
--> links to the most relevant forum topics and posts;
--> a news section;
--> a featured client case study;
--> different ads (banner ads, textual ads, advertorials, etc.);
--> Featured consultant;
--> a Q&A section;
--> a featured whitepaper;
-->, etc. Delivers all of this content requires a complex content structure and a strong and experienced editor. Format blog simply does not provide the level of the structure necessary to effectively present a complex content mix. But this is not to say that blogs are in no way inferior to e-zines, they are just different. And companies need both, and they need to deliver both via RSS and email. What is worrying, however, is that some apparently believe that e-zines and e-mail is "backward". It is a dangerous line of tr?de, that come close to shooting yourself in the foot. Personal preference against content delivery channels and internet content media formats have no place in business. What matters is what our audiences and how they want it to. our objective must be to meet as many of the "our people" as possible, the implementation of all the tools and technologies necessary to achieve this goal. Let our personal preferences get in the way is dangerous at best. And even if 90% of our customers/prospects/partners (etc.) preferred RSS to email to receive our content, it would still be good business practice to offer both.

How to improve news feeds
Channel title in your RSS feed is one of the most important aspect. The channel title should be keyword rich and contain information on the general theme of the RSS feed. In order to maximize compatibility with RSS readers, it is best not to include any HTML in the channel title. The channel title is a website visitors first glimpse to the RSS feed, so its important to make an impression and attract casual browsers interest. In addition, many of the RSS feed directories and search engines use the information in RSS feed's channel title and description to index the diet. In order to feed into categorized properly, it is important that the information in these fields be relevant to the content contained in the feedingstuff. If included in all blog, brand name or company name should be in the end not the beginning of RSS feed channel title. Channel description
The description field channel provides the opportunity to expand on the overarching theme of the RSS feed. The channel description should contain related keywords and phrases, but it should be written to capture the interest of readers not search engine spiders. HTML can be used to decorate and emphasize specific text in the description field. In summation the channel description should provide a compelling overview of the RSS feed content. RSS Feed item titles
Item titles should be 50-75 characters with spaces. To increase readability and compatibility with news readers, RSS feed item titles cannot be encoded with any HTML. Think of an RSS feed item title in the same way you would a Web page title. The RSS feed item title is your chance to capture the interest of the reader. An RSS feed item title is really nothing more than a headline. The most effective item titles are calls to action that Grab the readers attention. Include relevant keywords or keyword phrases in the title elements, and this will help any individuals doing deep feed searches for specific content. Optimize RSS
Optimize all aspects of web feed. While the diet should be optimized for search engines, using the same techniques a webmaster uses on a website, optimization is not on the readers expense. The contents of an RSS feed is often what leads readers to click or not. Readers will judge RSS feeds on the quality of the content. This means that something, grammar and punctuation. Consistent grammatical errors will reduce the credibility of authors and the number of subscribers. Anchor text
Using RSS feeds, publishers have the unique opportunity to determine the anchor text that will be used to link to internal website pages. RSS feeds are often syndicated, and even more often compelling feed items will often be posted by other publishers. With that in mind when including links back to a site in the description field, use the anchor text, there is a relevant keyword or phrase. Anchor text is one factor that search engines use in determining a website's ranking for specific keywords and phrases. Number of feed items
Routinely Remove old items in an RSS feeds and archive the content in the feed in order to ensure that feeds load quickly in RSS readers. If you use a third-party service to host your feeds, keep in mind, FeedBurner will truncate or not display the RSS feeds, finds to be too large. Heading Tags
If you receive an RSS feed as an HTML Web page it is wise to use H1 or H2 tags to display the RSS feed item titles. If the RSS feed is optimized, the Web site will benefit from the keyword weight by using the tags header. RSS Feed URLs
As with HTML Web pages, should the URLs contained in an RSS feed contains keywords if possible. Use hyphens not underscores, to separate the keywords in the RSS feed URL. Add a picture
Consider adding an image to your RSS feed to improve its appearance in a RSS reader. The image must be no large 144 x 400, and it is recommended that the image is 88 x 31. Most RSS readers will display the feed image above feed content, this is a great way to strengthen brand and establish brand recognition. In addition, you can add images to RSS feed's description field. In all cases, it is important to be a reference to the full URL to the image, because if the feed is syndicated it to report a broken image if its attempts to retrieve it locally. Some of the RSS feed directories use the scan website favorite icons to flag the RSS feed. RSS feeds containing a favorite icon stand out from others in folders so that you must include a favicon in your domain's root directory. RSS feeds are a great marketing tool, but like Web pages, they must be optimized so that you can reap the full marketing benefits. The time it takes to implement some basic optimization tips will steadily increase your RSS feeds exposure. About the author:

RSS and Email; Work together
RSS and Email: How do they work?
Copyright 2005 Rok Hrastnik
For most marketers online e-mail is still the key marketing and communicational tool, with its use ranging from e-zine publishing, direct sales messages, loyalty campaigns to internal communications between team members.
But through email due to spam filters and spam even gets harder, while anti-spam law puts even legitimate email marketers risk.
With 100% content delivery ratio is RSS a replacement to email?
At least right now, certainly not. However, it has become the most important addition to the delivery of mail. While many internet users have begun to ignore the e-mail subscriptions and only subscribe to the RSS content, are majority has begun to explore the world of RSS.
Time to get started with RSS is as such now if you want to get an upper hand over your competition before RSS when mainstream and at the same time test the RSS marketing approaches that work for you. Using RSS as an additional content delivery channel that is next to e-mail, one of the places to get started. But if you want to use RSS in conjunction with e-mail, you first need to understand some of the fundamental relationships between these two tools and e-zines and blogs.
A) UNDERSTANDING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN RSS, EMAIL, E-ZINES AND BLOGS
How these four really relate and what this means for your internet marketing strategy?
The most common miss-conception is to compare blogs and email, with many bloggers actually argue blogs as a replacement for email. The truth is that there's no comparison at all, like comparing apples and oranges.
The second miss-conception is to think that RSS and blogs are somehow strongly connected, or even that RSS is good only to provide blog content. The result of this, on the one hand, marketers who don't see RSS as a full-powered channel, communicational and bloggers on the other side as refusal to see email as a viable content delivery vehicle.
Let s denote the entry directly in the simplest possible terms. Blogs and e-zines or newsletters is "what"---what you publish online ... the content page.
RSS and email is "how"---how to get to the content or information to the reader ... the output page. RSS/email and blogs/e-zines can not be compared directly.
Blog content and e-zine content can both be delivered via RSS and email, and there is no direct business/logical relationship between, for example, blogs and RSS.
What makes sense, for example, compare e-zines and blogs. Blogs are "personal" conversations, opinions and news, delivered in a linear structure, usually written in a more personal style, and is restricted to a limited number of content types.
E-zines, on the other hand, are more like magazines or newspapers, transporting content presented in a complex non-linear structure, content, and have the ability to make many different content types that do not mix well together if delivered through a linear content structure. A typical e-zine can for example contain an editorial; a leading article that represents the predominant topic of a specific e-zine issues; support articles, clearly structured to show they are secondary to the main article; links to the most relevant forum topics and posts; a news section; various ads (banner ads, textual ads, advertorials, etc.); a Q&A section; a featured whitepaper; and so on.
Delivers all of this content requires a complex content structure and a strong and experienced editor. Format blog simply does not provide the level of the structure necessary to effectively present a complex content mix.
B) EMBED RSS IN YOUR E-MAIL MARKETING STRATEGY
If you can understand these fundamental connections, you can actually understand how much you can integrate RSS in your e-mail marketing strategy as a supplement to e-mail as a delivery tool.
For now, here are some of the most fundamental generic opportunities in using RSS with email:
1. Use RSS to announce each new issue of your order e-mail e-zine you make available in full on your website.
2. provide a separate RSS feed for the articles you publish in your e-mail e-zine and get them to your subscribers as soon as the articles become available, without waiting to receive them in an e-mail newsletter. The same goes for your news section if you have one.
3. If you publish much content in the various subject categories in your e-zine, give a separate RSS feed for each of these topics. Take another look at the items we above that a typical e-zine may include. Each of these elements could actually be a standalone RSS feed.
4. If you re doing email autoresponder marketing, give these very same autoresponders as RSS feeds, allows your visitors to subscribe to either the e-mail or RSS delivery channels to receive the very same content.
5. If you have your own affiliate program, you must make sure that your affiliates can also subscribe to your affiliate notices via an RSS feed, not just email. Basically all they will do to duplicate the same content you re sending via e-mail in an RSS feed.
6. If you re send special messages or updates to your existing customers via email, create a special limited access RSS feed to deliver the same updates via RSS.
These should be enough to get you started thinking in the right direction.

RSS for Business
RSS 2.0 quickly becomes the definitive RSS standard, all because of its support for the code chassis. Enclosure tag is an optional field in the RSS 2.0 specification to allow the feed publisher shall include a hyperlink to a file. The file can be just about anything. Businesses have seized the opportunity, including tutorials, streaming audio lectures, PDF proposals, Powerpoint ? presentations, podcasts, sales meetings, and advertising portfolios among other traditional uses for RSS.Many companies have yet to realize the potential hidden in the chassis. Impact and power of how RSS can be used is truly awe-inspiring. Consider the following business uses of RSS:1. PDF documents -consider broadcasting meeting agenda documentation as PDF included with a feed, allowing interested individuals to access information without having to deal with cumbersome e-mail attachments or notes.2. PPT presentations presentations can easily be distributed in a feed enclosure. An additional benefit is that presenters using Powerpoint ? will not have to contact their notebook to a meeting to present-they can control the presentation from an iPod or similar handheld reader RSS feeds.3. Video -Video or video streaming are both possible via the enclosure. Have lectures or even political debates come to life with an added video component. 4. Audio -audio content does not mean that the feeds are limited to your favorite songs. Podcasting is the coined term for audio content contained in a feed and can include language instruction, talkshows, or leaders. 5. Images -imagine the real estate company using the chassis to show photos of homes to interested buyers. Now they can make a light-weight catalog with them to show potential buyers with a moment's notice. 6. Weekly -consider an IT Department in a large corporation conducting proprietary software updates, including executables or zip files in the enclosure which Allow users to update the software at a convenient time.Feedreaders are playing catch up
RSS news aggregators were initially designed to receive text-based content. As users find outside-the-box uses for RSS, struggling developers of RSS readers to release new versions that supports enclosures businesses are eager to use.FeedDemon, a popular RSS reader, has recently added support for each type of enclosure in their latest release. They have created a safe list that can be customized to include specific types of file types such as PDF files. This will automate the download of files that are deemed "safe". This was clearly designed with security in mind, to prevent automatic downloading of executable files.Enterprises revolutionising RSS as a communication medium. While some traditional businesses struggling to include monthly newsletter Summaries in an RSS feed and reap the benefits of RSS, other innovative companies adopting incredibly creative uses for both internal and external corporate communications. Instant Podcasts
We are taught to recycle paper, cans, bottles and plastic but marketers rarely discuss the value of repackaging and customization content. Publishers and marketers have both embraced content syndication and RSS but few have considered the value beyond the actual syndication. Consider an alternative communication channel, reaches a new or different audience.
Customization and repackaging content or information so that it can be consumed through a variety of preserving the environment is not a new concept. Many companies Vision Correction today increased communication as a common goal. Cost conscious businesses with tight budges are often interested in minimizing work loads and costs, while increasing communication. By presenting the same information in different ways and formats, businesses will be able to increase the reach and communication, while remaining cost conscious.
Businesses quickly found, PowerPoint presentations could be converted into technical articles, or forum posts could be ported to be a basis for a list of frequently asked questions. Along a similar vein webmasters have located a new advent in repurposed content reuse text articles by converting them into audio podcasts.
The process is surprisingly simple, I personally found the prospect of reading aloud of articles and their concerns, both daunting and time consuming, so I opted for a simplified procedure. I found that using two simple programs, I was able to create a podcast in minutes.
The first obstacle, the creation of the sound file was captured with the help of TextAloud program Nextup's. I simply inserted in the text of an article selected a "voice" and saved the file as an MP3 file. In less than a minute, I had a sound file containing the article.
After I had the MP3 file is saved, is used in Feedforalls tutorial to create a podcast. The tutorial step by step (http://www.feedforall.com/podcasting-tutorial.htm) set 12 simple steps to construct a podcast.
I found the quality of the constructed podcasts, using synthesized speech to text, surprisingly good.

Reuse content
Why would publishers do this? There are a number of advantages for customizing content, not least of which is that it allows customers to choose the format that they want to access your information. In addition, require adaptation of content is often not a lot of extra time, cost, or additional effort. The content already exists--the format is just different. There are also a number of available software tools that can help users with easy customization content.
The following are different ways to repackage existing content or to present the content in another format ...
RSS filtering and merge Publishers can apply filters to the existing RSS feeds, and then merge the feeds in a single filtered feed contains thematic content. This allows webmasters to present content from existing RSS feeds in a different way. There are a number of automated tools for RSS filtering and merge, such as Yahoo Pipes, RSSfilter and RSSmesh.
Text to audio Publishers can convert existing text to audio files, articles, and book publishers to convert printed and bound books into audio books. Podcasts are the current rage, and many people use their driving commutes to listen. Catch the interest and attention of web site visitors by providing audio versions of text documents. This allows visitors a choice of either read the content, or listen to it. Information about the conversion of text to audio-http://www.podcasting-tools.com/instant-podcasts.htm
PDF files provide product manuals and other documentation, as both web content and downloadable PDF files. Give web visitors a choice by offering a variety of file formats for tutorials, documentation and articles, and make sure that one of these formats is a PDF file. Many computer users is suspicious of MS-Word Doc files because of the inherent risks of computer virus attached to Word documents and other files. PDF files have become a stable format for public documents. Publish any text-based content in PDF format is very easy to do, and there are a number of tools, such as the PDF995, which makes it possible to convert documents or images to PDF format, quickly and easily.
Localize If you customize an international market, consider localizing your website, and it is content to other languages. Offer foreign language versions of your website content and documentation. The world becomes smaller and smaller, and the international markets are now open for small enterprises has expanded. Split language barriers capitalized in new markets.
Repurposing content is not overly complicated. It just gives your customers more options, and allows you to further leverage existing content, possibly enjoy further preserving the environment.
