RSS is not only for Blogs
Odds are popular opinion, RSS is not only good for delivering content from your blog, although blogs are what made RSS so popular.RSS can actually be used to deliver a wide range of content and content needs types. If you can divide your content in to individual stories or individual pieces, you can deliver it via RSS. If you simply want to give you an idea of the power of RSS, here are some examples of content you can publish with it--> MarketingVOX is using RSS to deliver internet marketing news to their readers, as it becomes available. Instead of having to wait to receive all the news in a single e-mail newsletter, get RSS users them as soon as they are ready.--> Amazon.com uses RSS to announce their Bestsellers and help their users keep track of releases they are most interested in.--> some managers already communicate with their affiliates using RSS affiliate. You can of course use it to communicate with all other segment and, as your employees or team members, and even your company owners. --> FindSavings.com uses RSS to deliver savings coupons and related information.--> Lockergnome uses RSS to provide visitors with the latest week and the appropriate software. Again using other companies RSS to deliver product updates and patches directly to their customers, just as they become available. --> A few hundred content publishers are using RSS to deliver audio content, such as .MP3 interviews and even radio shows. --> Textamerica.com allows people to post pictures, videos and text from their mobile phones and then make this content available via RSS feed.--> other companies are using RSS to deliver white papers and other educational content.--> one company uses RSS as a consulting billing awareness tool. The consultants create activity reports and RSS feeds from the activity channels carry the billable information to the accounting staff for invoice preparation. --> Many internet publishers are using RSS to deliver their newsletters, as a complement to their email delivery. Since many people no longer want to give their e-mail address away to publishers, this is a great way to keep your e-zine readership growing. --> Publish living digital catalogues of your products and provide your customers with your latest product releases, broken down by the categories they are interested in, and make it easy for them to order.--> give your affiliates and marketing partners with RSS feeds they can encourage their visitors to better promote your products and still make a Commission. Amazon.com makes already it. When you start?--> create RSS autoresponders with scheduled messages, to keep in constant marketing contact with your prospects and slowly bring them to the point of purchase. --> Deliver limited access content to your customers, employees, team members and even investors without fearing other unwanted eyes. Use RSS for internal communications, teamworking and other needs. --> Give your customers easy access to software updates, delivered to them exactly as they become available, without the fuss of having to visit your site or deal with huge e-mail attachments, which would get blocked by spam filters anyway. --> Newsreporters are constantly bombarded with e-mail, so why not instead deliver your press releases via RSS? Or even better yet, why not provide some of your releases as video comments, interviews or statements from your business managers or owners?--> help your visitors keep with what s going on in your Web Forum, by publishing your latest forum posts or whole threads via RSS. And yet these are still only a few examples of what you can do with RSS today when something new comes up almost every day. The 7 steps to promoting your RSS Feeds on your site
Copyright 2005 Rok HrastnikRSS gets 100% of your content delivered, but it's not good if no one subscribes to your feeds. So your first order of business after planning and setting up your feeds have to promote them to your visitors. The only problem is that most internet users still don t know RSS is, so you have your work cut out for. But user outlined below you shouldn t-system has problems. In fact, after the implementation of this system, you should achieve better results than most publishers out there. 1. How RSS FEEDS are generally PROMOTED RSS feeds generally are promoted by using the orange XML or RSS buttons and often also with buttons that enable visitors to draw directly on the feed with your RSS reader. Normally, if you click the RSS button, visitors can see only a mass of confusing XML code. They must actually copy and paste link into your RSS reader. But since most still don t know RSS is, by using this procedure only waste potential subscribers. If you want to achieve success, you ll another approach. A] create a RSS presentation page where you explain:
-What RSS is-how visitors will benefit from using RSS-where they can get a free RSS aggregator (recommend one myself!)-how they can install it (gives step-by-step instructions)-how they can subscribe to your RSS feeds-why you should subscribe to your own RSS feeds then, on this same page, including links to all of your RSS feeds. In addition to the standard orange RSS button, also include direct links to subscriptions through MyYahoo! (get it here http://my.yahoo.com/s/button.html) and other relevant services, such as Blog lines (http://www.bloglines.com). There are about 5 RSS readers you should cover these buttons. (B)] are now promoting this RSS presentation page, as you can by using all of your available channels. 2. location and content It s all about location, just as with the box subscription to your e-zine. If they don t see it, they won t Subscribe. And if you don t motivating them enough to check box-it out, they'll just ignore it. (A)] promote your RSS feeds directly in your e-zine subscription box, and always above fold. Promote your RSS presentation page (tells your visitors that s where they can subscribe to your feeds) on the most prominent placements of your site. (B)] If you re publishing more than one RSS feed, but rather a few focused topic feeds, promote each of them according to their topics. For example, if you re publishes an RSS feed on e-mail marketing, promote RSS feed at the top of the home page for the topic, and in each E-mail marketing article you publish. These links should actually direct subscriptions links to feeds. Use this service to cover all important readers by using only one simple button: http://www.methodize.org/quicksub/(C)] Promote your RSS feeds in all your e-mail messages and e-zine issues. (D)] as for contents, don t say just Subscribe and receive news from my site, but rather prepare compelling copy to specifically Show your visitors why they need to subscribe to your content in the first place and why they should subscribe specifically your RSS feeds. 3. Enable AUTO-DISCOVERY
Some internet browsers such as Firefox, making it easy for users to subscribe to RSS feeds. The browser actually asks the user if he wants to subscribe to feeds, see the browser of the user is currently on the site.
Yes, it is even more powerful than the form e-mail subscription, because the browser in a way pushes the user with your RSS feed subscription. But for the browser to do this, you need to help it to find your RSS feed. Simply include the following piece of HTML code in thepoint in your webpages and you ll be all set: there are many more techniques and opportunities available to you from direct subscribe links to actual user opt-in forms, but these 7 steps should get you started as soon as possible, and help you achieve a better visitor-to-RSS-subscriber conversion rate than the vast majority of sites are achieving today.About the author:

Here are just some of the various RSS tools that is available at the moment ... RSS to PDF Feedbooks, a free RSS aggregator, takes in RSS feeds and converts them into compiled PDFs. What are sound effects?
What is a sound effect?
A sound effect is a ready-made sound for podcasters or producers. Podcasters will typically only incorporate the sound of their production to instant success. This can be done with various editors running on a very short time. Sound effects make the creation of a podcast easier and professional. Sound effects are usually easy to edit and customize using any sound editor, occasionally more sophisticated sound require precise audio control.
Examples of sound effects can be found on digital audio effects-http://www.digital-sound-effects.comWhat costs the sound effects?
It depends on many variables. Sound effects can vary from $ 99 for a single effect to hundreds of dollars for a custom created sound. The price varies depending on the complexity and length of the sound. Licenses can also affect the pricing structure. Most of the sound effects are available for non-exclusive use, and exclusive effects tend to be much more expensive.
In most cases, a sound effect can be edited with another audio editor, but it is best to read the license agreement from the company you purchased sound power from. This will give you a clearer understanding of how the file can be exploited and manipulated.
An audio editor is a piece of software or equipment that makes it possible to change or improve a recording.
Proper use of sound effects, while sometimes complex, be done by amateur podcasters and presenters in order to improve their podcasts and presentations. Sound effects make the resulting Display or presentation much more professional and credible.
There is no maximum capacity or minimums when it comes to sound effects. Of course, the larger files can make your file size grow and intimidate listeners with a slow connection. The balance between file size and quality of the effect to determine what will best meet your needs.
ID3 tags consist of metadata that describes the contents of the file audio (typically ID3 tags relating to MP3 files). ID3 tags contains general information related to the audio file, including things like the title of the audio file, artist, album, or any other relevant information. Speculation in future podcasting search engines and directories using the information in the ID3 tags to categorize, search, and the Group podcasts. What file formats are acceptable for the sound effects? It depends on your needs, and many sound libraries now offer effects in a wide variety of formats.

How can you get a free enhanced listing in Yahoo with your RSS Feed
How can you get a free enhanced listing in Yahoo with your RSS Feed
Copyright 2004 Tinu AbayomiPaul
Last week, I cheated on my long love Google, with my old girlfriend Yahoo. And ever since the day I have been considering becoming a bigamist. (To fully understand what this crazy nonsense around was read my last specified article on how to get your RSS feed in Yahoo within hours-in 5 simple steps here: http://www.freetrafficdirectory.com/rssyahoo.)
Today I decided to go ahead and break the law-Yahoo is my new other party.
What I am talking about, and what does it mean for your site?
Once I discovered that you could get into Yahoo's RSS Feed directory so quickly, I started to do a lot of observations about their site. The first thing I noticed is that they made some subtle changes to their search page. The same day, I noticed that some sites have more information in their listings than others.
Try this search on Yahoo for example, "get your RSS Feed listed within hours", quotes and all.
Scroll through the results. Notice for search results number 7 and number 8-www.marketingproductreview.com www.searchenginejournal.com-link for a searcher to add your feed from the search results is right on the page.
If you use a RSS, get you power on this already.
In the event that you do not, bonnets, formulate it to ya .... Thanks to Yahoo's people will not even go to the site to add you to their Yahoo page, if you have the correct meta tag in your site's header.
And if they don t use since My Yahoo to trace their feeds? They ve been so kind enough to include a link to your XML link, as well as.
How can this work know?
Do another search for need free traffic-without quotes this time. Scroll down to Search result number four-see with the feed links? That s my site. Not only did this work, it apparently takes only a few days from submitting your feed. I have added this simple code to my site header on the 6th of July. I have noticed another traffic increase to my site on the 8th, and couldn't t figure what has led me to check the listings in Yahoo, who had sent me traffic.
How did this? I've added a simple meta tag called RSS Auto Discovery to my site. IT s very easy to use. Here s it looks like this:
< !--="" rss="" autodiscovery="" --="">
{link rel = "alternate" type = "application/rss + xml" Title = "rss" href = "http://www.freetrafficdirectory.com/members/backend.php"/}
Just replace my RSS feed link with your own, and add code to the header of your site.
